With great enthusiasm, we extend a cordial invitation for you to participate in the Coalition’s session at the 2024 World Circular Economy Forum, scheduled for April 16th from 10:45 to 11:45 Brussels time. This prominent event will be supported by members of our Steering Committee, including the Ellen MacArthur Foundation and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), as well as government representatives from Peru, Costa Rica, and Brazil. Additionally, distinguished organizations such as the African Circular Economy Alliance and the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo will join, enriching the dialogue with various synergies and perspectives.

This session will be an exceptional space to highlight the leadership and opportunities in the region, framed by the richness of diverse ecosystems and the vitality of our agriculture. It will explore how food systems can progress towards a circular economy model, supported by bioeconomy policies and innovative practices. Furthermore, the global relevance of these strategies in promoting sustainable development and food security will be underscored, presenting exemplary cases from the Global South.
