CEPAL carried out research that proposes a methodology of indicators that measure the progress of the transition towards a circular economy focused on value chains and the potential for their development in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Within the document, cases of circular businesses in the agri-food industry in Argentina, construction in Colombia and automotive in Mexico are shared. The methodology developed is validated through the cases mentioned that integrating social and economic dimensions to the indicators, allows the identification of circular economy business opportunities in the region.
