The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON), on behalf of Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) invites qualified interested firms to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming solicitation for the provision of Technical Assistance implementation on Supporting the transition to a circular economy in Costa Rica
The main activity of this assistance is the development of a National Circular economy Strategy to support the transition to a circular economy in Costa Rica and therefore increase climate resilience and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in production processes, extraction and distribution of resources, and promote changes towards more sustainable consumption patterns in the Costa Rican population.
The technical assistance will develop also monitoring indicators; will propose a dissemination and training strategy for the use of the Step-by-Step Guide for municipalities; and will prepare recommendations for updating and implementing criteria for the incorporation of the circular economy in National Programs.
