Event Context:
Between June and August 2023, the Circular Economy Coalition for Latin America and the Caribbean, with the support of the European Union’s Switch to Green program, organized a series of regional workshops aimed at guiding countries in creating national plans and roadmaps to advance towards circular economic models. These meetings promoted the exchange of knowledge and cooperation in the realization of such plans in Latin America and the Caribbean, achieving rich discussions about the experiences of countries like Costa Rica, Colombia, Chile, Peru, the Dominican Republic, and Uruguay on key aspects such as indicators, sectoral collaboration, legislation, shared financing, and the involvement of multiple stakeholders.
