On September 15 (9am EDT & 1pm GMT), Regional deep dive: Africa and Latin America and the Caribbean joining forces for circularity. A dialogue and initiation of cooperation between the African Circular Economy Alliance (ACEA) and the Circular Economy Coalition for Latin America and the Caribbean in support of GO4SDGs and SEED.
The session will serve as a regional dialogue to frame a common understanding of how the circular economy can accelerate the transition to climate-friendly development, restoration, and inclusion in the Global South. Innovative solutions will be showcased as examples for replication, and the type of policies needed to scale up circular value chains will be discussed.
